The team at AristoWorks put together a slide show using images of the devastation in Haiti set to the song “More,” from Cherry Heart Records artist Ty Williams. The 24-year-old veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom wrote the song about the importance of giving to others.

Williams recently visited the MusicRow offices to meet the staff and perform an acoustic set.

The Virginia native’s debut single and video, “Barn On The Rooftop,” is out now on CMT Pure, and premiered on The Daily Buzz.

Williams’ EP is available on iTunes and his self-titled debut album is slated for release later this year.

Thank you for bringing light to the needs of our Haitian brothers and sisters. Many don’t know that Haiti’s need was almost just as great before the quake…hard to believe, but true. As always, another FANTASTIC song! Your voice ALWAYS draws your listeners in..any message you want to be known, will be known! Thanks for another beautiful song.

For some reason I had previously put off donating to the Haiti relief efforts before watching this video. As soon as I submit this comment, I am going immediately to RedCross.org to donate.

“A quarter in Somali could nearly feed a child” So true Ty. I saw Bill Clinton talking about this the other day on the Daily Show and this song made me think of it.

This video is so inspirational. It really represents what’s going on over there, and it’s tragic. Let’s all do more to help those around us.
