Valory Music Company recording artist Jewel launched her debut country album Perfectly Clear, out today (6/3), with a live radio premiere special. She hosted over 30 contest winners from around the country at the Rough Creek Lodge in Stephenville, TX. Winners took part in live morning show interviews and watched the taping of an upcoming GAC-TV special, Origins, set to air in July. She will perform on Live with Regis and Kelly and Late Night with Conan O’Brien (June 4), The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (June 17), and Jimmy Kimmel Live (June 18). Jewel will also return for her second season as judge on NBC's Nashville Star, premiering June 9, and join Brad Paisley's Hershey's Presents The Paisley Party Tour June 11 in Albuquerque, NM.

MCA Nashville artist David Nail visited the Music Row offices on Friday (5/30) afternoon to perform tracks from his upcoming release. His debut single “I'm About To Come Alive” is out now.

A sold out crowd of fans and celebrities including Toby Keith gathered at the Station Inn for what was believed to be the farewell performance of Doyle & Debbie's comeback tour. After their performance Doyle Mayfield thanked the audience for their support and announced that due to fan requests they would continue to perform every Tuesday night at the Station Inn beginning June 3 through September 2.

Wind-up Nashville recording artist Eric Durrance has signed with Buddy Lee Attractions (BLA) for exclusive booking representation. Durrance's single “Angels Fly Away” debuts in early June and his CD, produced by Teddy Gentry and Mark Bright, is scheduled for a September 16 release.

Last night (5/28) Columbia Nashville’s Montgomery Gentry celebrated their new release, Back When I Knew It All, in stores June 10, at Nashville’s Flying Saucer. Industry insiders were challenged to play country music trivia while getting a sneak peak of the new album, including the tracks “Roll With Me,” “Long Line of Losers” and “Now You’re Talkin’.” GAC’s Storme Warren helped Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry emcee the evening’s festivities. Trivia winners were rewarded MG style with bottles of Jim Beam and shot glasses.

Blake Shelton was the only country artist to participate in the recent “David Foster and Friends” concert. The tribute to the well-known producer took place May 23 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Among the numerous performers were Andrea Bocelli, Babyface, Michael Bublé, Peter Cetera, Josh Groban, Kenny G., Katharine McPhee, Brian McKnight, and Shelton, who performed Foster’s first hit, “Wildflower.” He also sang his current hit “Home” with Bublé, the song’s original writer.
