A Jackson Homecoming

Alan and Denise Jackson returned to their hometown of Newnan, GA recently for a personal appearance at Scott’s Bookstore, where they greeted media and fans (some of whom had camped out since 2:00 a.m. and driven from as far away as Florida and Minnesota). The Jacksons remained until the last CD and book had been signed. Alan was autographing copies of his CDs, including his latest No. 1 album, Good Time. Denise signed copies of her New York Times No. 1 bestseller, It’s All About Him: Finding the Love of My Life and her new book, The Road Home. Later that evening, the Jacksons received the Richard Brooks Visionary Award of Artistic Achievement, presented to them by the Coweta County Schools’ Centre for Performing and Visual Arts.

As he promotes the May 6 release of his greatest hits album, Dierks Bentley will visit homes of fans in eleven cities to perform an acoustic set and sign autographs. He will stop in Philadelphia, New York, Charlotte, Greenville, Indianapolis, Nashville, Chicago, St. Louis, Seattle, Los Angeles and Atlanta. Along the way, NASCAR superstar Dale Earnhardt Jr. will host an album release party at his Charlotte country club Whiskey River. Bentley is also set for a full throttle media tour including concerts on NBC's Today (May 7) and ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live (May 15). The Capitol Records Nashville release Greatest Hits//Every Mile A Memory 2003 - 2008 contains 10 hits, five live songs, and two new tracks; "With The Band" and "Sweet & Wild" (featuring Sarah Buxton).
