The city of Nashville began eminent domain proceedings last week to seize the property at 23 Music Circle East, reports the Tennessean. A Houston-based commercial developer has offered property owner Joy Ford $900,000 for the piece of land which houses Country International Records, the newspaper says. As previously reported in Music Row, the Lionstone Group wants to build a $100 million mixed-use facility between Demonbreun and Division streets, at the Music Row Roundabout. The property would include a hotel, offices, shops and condos.
