Jon Bon Jovi will be the keynote speaker at the 38th Annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS), in a session taking place Thurs., March 1 at 10 a.m. WSIX’s Gerry House will interview the rock star whose band, Bon Jovi, has sold more than 120 million albums worldwide. Last year Bon Jovi collaborated with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles on the single "Who Says You Can't Go Home." The band also plans to work with Nashville songwriters on its next studio project. CRS will be held from Wed., Feb. 28 through Fri., March 2, 2007 at the Nashville Convention Center.

LeAnn Phelan has joined Oglesby Writer Management/19 Entertainment as Sr. Dir. of Creative Services. During Phelan’s career she toured with Steve Winwood as a background vocalist/musician in 1988-1989, helped open Windswept Nashville in 1996 and served as VP and partner for Combustion Music, a venture that Windswept formed in 2001. She joined Sony Nashville as Sr. Dir. of A&R in 2005 and recently completed the American Idol Audition Tour for Season 6 as a preliminary judge for 19 Entertainment.
