Kellie Coffey’s debut album not only shows off her singing talent, but her songwriting as well. Seven the album’s 11 cuts were co-written by the Oklahoma native.

The album’s first single,“When You Lie Next To Me,” was written as a reaction to the death of her co-writer’s friend. “We all began talking about this person, and how much he loved his family and music,” says Coffey. “It made us all start thinking about our families and that we shouldn’t take one single minute for granted.”

Coffey’s album hit stores this May.
