Carrie Underwood wrapped her ambitious The Storyteller Tour-Stories In The Round on Nov. 28 with a show in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since the trek launched in January, Underwood and her band have performed 92 shows, playing for one million fans. Along the way, the spectacle met with sold-out crowds in New York City (Madison Square Garden), Los Angeles (STAPLES Center), Nashville (Bridgestone Arena), Toronto (Air Canada Center) and more.

During the tour’s final stop, Underwood’s openers Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers, commemorated the tour by surprising Underwood with custom artwork.

The 150-feet-long, in-the-round style stage included seven stage elevators, three rings of video screen, and a revolving central stage. Barry Lather, who has worked with Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Usher, served as the tour’s creative director. Butch Allen, who has worked with Metallica, Eric Church, and No Doubt, was Production & Lighting Designer. Underwood’s tour wardrobe, designed by Marina Toybina, included 32 custom-made costumes and 214 pieces of jewelry to create different outfit combinations for the show’s five acts in each city.

Thomas Rhett will bring his 2017 Home Team Tour to Nashville next year for two shows at Ascend Amphitheater. After the immediate sell out of his first Music City show, slated for April 21, he has added a second show for April 20.

Kelsea Ballerini, Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd are also on the bill.

The tour kicks off Feb. 23 in Saginaw, Michigan, and tickets for the newly added date go on sale to the public Friday, Dec. 9 at thomasrhett.com.

“I’m blown away that we’re adding a second show in Nashville,” said Thomas Rhett. “I grew up seeing my favorite bands and a lot of my heroes play here. Kenny Chesney Adds Second Gillette Stadium Show For 2017

Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney loves Boston. The entertainer is now set to perform not one but two shows at Gillette Stadium in 2017, marking his only U.S. stadium shows for the year. Chesney previously announced a show on Aug. 25, 2017, and has now added a second show on Aug. 26, 2017.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 2 at ticketmaster.com.

“I can’t believe we’re doing two shows,” Chesney said. “I said I was going to take some time and lay low, but obviously a summer without Boston just isn’t the same. And when they came back asking about another show due to the response and said, ‘You’re already going to have the stage and everything in place…,’ what else could I say? So, this will be my only stadium play; but it will be two nights instead of one. And truly, Boston, I can’t wait… I can still hear the roar of our last show in my ears.”

Chesney performed to 121,399 fans at Gillette Stadium earlier this year to close his Spread The Love Tour.

Kenny Chesney’s Only 2017 US Stadium Show Slated For Gillette Stadium

Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney may not be planning to tour in 2017, but even this superstar entertainer couldn’t resist playing at least one stadium show next year.

Chesney’s only 2017 US stadium show will take place at Gillette Stadium near Boston on Aug. 25, 2017. He will welcome Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion as openers. The superstar recently wrapped his Spread the Love 2016 Tour with a two-night stint at the venue, playing to 121,399 cumulative attendees.

“I can’t imagine summer without getting out there and rocking everyone at Gillette Stadium,” Chesney said via a video on social media. “From the beginning, the amount of heart and soul that came at us from the first note at Gillette was beyond intense. It’s never let up, it’s never slowed down. Every summer, every show, every song, they push us even harder than we push them. It’s kind of addicting, and something I can’t imagine a summer without. So we’re coming, Boston – and you know, this is our one shot at a big, big show, so you better get ready.”

As of now, Chesney is also scheduled for four music festivals through June 2016.

The Gillette presale begins this Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 12:00 p.m. ET on kennychesney.com. General on-sale begins Dec. 2 at 10:00 a.m. ET
