Premiere Radio Networks, the official radio partner of 2008 CMA Music Festival, will once again host 20 of Country radio's top-rated stations at the only official radio remote for the four-day event, broadcasting artist interviews and event coverage to their listeners back home. The Festival takes place Thursday through Sunday, June 5-8, and Premiere Radio Network's Official CMA Music Festival Radio Remote is Wednesday through Friday, June 4-6.
The CMA Music Festival will have free events at the Fun Zone, McDonald's®-Dr Pepper® Family Zone, and Hard Rock Outdoor Stage. The Family Zone at the Hall of Fame Park, between 4th and 5th Ave. on Demonbreun, features a broad range of shows including magic with Ronald McDonald; singing and dancing with Strawberry Shortcake; Country Music from the Bummkin Band starring Joe Bear Bumm Kin; folk music from the Hollow Trees; music and motivation from PBSKids host Miss Lori; sing-alongs with Grammy Award Winner Dennis Scott; and much more. The Fun Zone, on Broadway between 1st and 3rd Ave. S., will host interactive games, activities, celebrity appearances, product samples, giveaways, and more, such as the Super 8 sponsored autograph signing with NASCAR driver Bobby Labonte. The Hard Rock Outdoor Stage will offer free concerts Thursday- Sunday with artists including Shawna Russell, Indian Rodeo, Bailey Grey, Jason Matthews, Whiskey Falls, Zane Lewis, The Wrights, and Mark Wills.
