The Jay Patten Band featuring Mike Loudermilk, Toni Sehulster, and Rick Lonow, will celebrate its album release with a birthday jam and benefit for MusiCares on Wed., Sept. 19. Performing will be special guests Crystal Gayle, Jimmy Hall, Nanci Griffith, Larry Henley, Gary Nicholson, Frank Sheen, Vickie Carrico, Deborah Allen and Roberto Bianco. The show starts 9 PM at the Bluebird Cafe; cost is $15.

SOLID members have several upcoming community outreach events and friends, family and co-workers are invited to participate. Team SOLID will walk in the Race For The Cure for breast cancer on Sat., Nov. 3. Last year’s 10 team members raised almost $3,000. An all female songwriter fundraiser is set for Thurs., Oct. 25 at 3rd & Lindsley to benefit the organization’s Race For The Cure Team.
