This weekend Nashville will host two benefit concerts to help offset medical costs for former Jason and The Scorchers drummer Perry Baggs, a diabetic suffering from kidney failure. The June 2 Jason and the Scorchers reunion show is already sold out but Warner E. Hodges, guitarist for the Scorchers, is bringing together several bands to play the Exit/In on Friday, June 1. This line-up includes Back Porch Mary, Chelle Rose feat. Hodges, Tommy Womack, Perry Baggs acoustic set (health permitting), Stacie Collins feat. Hodges and Dan Baird, and Bottle Rockets. The show starts at 7:30 PM; cover charge is $20 in advance and $25 day of show. Tickets are available through www.ticketmaster.com and www.exitin.com.
