Gibson Foundation announced a five-year commitment to WaterAid, an international non-profit whose mission is to overcome poverty by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education in the world’s poorest countries. Gibson Foundation will support WaterAid in its efforts in one of the most impoverished states in Nigeria. “The Gibson Foundation focuses on enriching the lives of children around the world and supports several initiatives who provide better living opportunities and resources,” said Gibson Guitar CEO and Chairman Henry Juszkiewicz. “WaterAid is an extension of the many things we aim to support internationally in the hopes that we can make a difference in children’s lives and help better their overall health and well-being.”
Michelle Owens of Vector Management and her husband, Steve Owens are celebrating the birth of their baby boy. Connor Edgar Owens was born in Nashville on March 6. Mother, father and baby are all doing well.
Equity Music Group's Mark Wills took a spin at the Wheel of Fortune during the show's 2nd annual "Country Music Stars Week." Wills personally presented his winnings of $10,000 to Nashville's Ronald McDonald House on Feb. 27.
