The 6th Annual Birdhouse Thing, benefitting the W.O. Smith Music School, will be held on Thurs., March 8th at The Mall at Green Hills. The event features wooden birdhouses designed by local artists, architects, celebrities and public figures which are auctioned for charity. Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased by calling W.O. Smith Music School at 615-255-8355 or by emailing jonahr@wosmith.org. Ticketholders will also enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres provided by local caterers, specialty food shops, and popular eateries.

CountryBreakout reporter KBCN in Harrison, Ark. has scheduled the 2007 Radiothon for Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, for Fri., March 9. Last year the event reached its goal of raising $55,000 and KBCN’s Lisa Johnson agreed to shave her head as a result.
