Music Row News Editor Sarah Gilbert married Burney Skates, a student of nuclear medicine at Belmont University and Vanderbilt Medical Center, on Dec. 16 in LaFayette, Ga. A reception followed at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. The high school sweethearts honeymooned in Jamaica and reside in Nashville.

Condolences to ACM Executive Dir. Bob Romeo and family, in the passing of his mother, Martha Jane Romeo, on Dec. 26. She was 80 years old and died two days prior to her 81st birthday. Funeral Mass will be held Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. at Christ The King Catholic Church in Omaha, Neb. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Don and Martha Romeo 4-H Scholarship Fund, 15332 Old Mormon Bridge Road, Crescent, IA 51526.
