CMT Building Sells For $11.2 Million
Commerce Street Nashville Partnership, has acquired the building that houses the Country Music Television headquarters, located at 330 Commerce Street. The location has sold for $11.2 million, according to The Tennessean. The four-story building boasts 114,038 square feet.
The building went on the market in January 2013; CMT renewed its lease on 86,000 square feet of space for an additional seven years. The network invested more than $20 million in the space over the past 10 years. The seller of the building is the Atlanta-based Wells Real Estate Funds, which paid nearly $13.8 million for the location in 2007.
The property listing included four stories of office space and two levels of parking; it does not include an additional seven levels of parking and the ground-level retail space.
Also housed in the building is the Tennessee Information Consortium, which leases more than 11,000 square feet.
