Rusty Sherrill Joins Sony Promo Department

Sony Music Nashville’s Director Promotion/Strategy & Analysis, RG Jones announced Rusty Sherrill as Promotion Representative for Sony Music Nashville. Sherrill will be based in Nashville and begin his new role in the upcoming weeks.
“Rusty has been a big part of the Arista Nashville Promotion team for several years,” said Jones. “He has built strong relationships with country radio and I look forward to working with him in his new role.”
A Tennessee native, Sherrill most recently was Promotion Coordinator for Arista Nashville. Sherrill is a graduate of The University of North Alabama with a degree in Entertainment Industry Management. He first joined Sony Music Nashville as a Promotion intern in August 2009.
