Cotton Valley Music, LLC under the steerage of veterans J. Gary Smith and John Smith has opened offices on Music Row at 713 18th Ave. S. The two Smiths have previously worked with and helped develop successful artists such as Andy Griggs, Darryl Singletary and Mindy McCready. The new entity is comprised of two divisions—record label and management—and currently includes artists Mark Cooke and Curb Records recording artist Steve Holy.

“Technology has drastically changed the climate of the industry and the playing field has leveled dramatically,” states John Smith. “Independents are jockeying for position and we are fully prepared and engaged in this race to develop the new business model.”

J. Gary Smith and John Smith, President and VP of CVM respectively, are partners with Kevin Russell and Sara Greenville who spearhead the Longview, TX office of Cotton Valley Entertainment.

The company can be reached at 615-730-9845 or info@cvrmusic.com. http://www.cvrmusic.com
