Major acheivement. Might be years before this happens again. She is only the second in almost 20 years on an indy label. Requires success beyond the norm and majors competing among themselves to pull this off. Pundits say its because she had cross over success and sold 4m records. Perhaps. But the same pundits said she couldn't win female vocalists based on her chops? What say you about that? or does it really matter?? She is simply the biggest act right now; love her or hate her.
